The Undergraduate Awards is a prestigious international academic awards programme, recognising excellent students across the sciences, humanities, business and creative arts. It aims to celebrate and support the world’s brightest and most innovative undergraduate students by awarding their best research, coursework, and projects.
The Undergraduate Awards (UA) are open to all penultimate and final year students studying for a degree course in any third level institution in the world. Each year, thousands of students submit their work anonymously for consideration online at undergraduateawards.com. Panels made up of academics representing a diverse range of universities, colleges, and institutes of technology, assess the papers during the summer months, choosing their Winners and Highly Commended Entrants every September.
Students are chosen for their innovative approach to their subject area. Each entrant can submit up to three pieces of research or project work. These Winners and Highly Commended Entrants are then invited the UA Global Summit, a gathering of some of the world’s smartest and most innovative students. The 2015 UA Global Summit will take place in Dublin, Ireland in November. The Undergraduate Awards Library is a collection of works submitted to the UA since 2012.
